All The Rest Is Propaganda

Tender words between us
From morning through to night
Holding hands but sat alone
Stumbling over what to write
You casually commented
And led me to believe
That after all you’re longing
For the heart that’s on my sleeve
I never did do big and bold
Perhaps it’s for the better
Shouting loud, standing
Well that doesn’t always get her
And I’m weary of the fact
That emotions can confuse
Reality or romance
The beauty or the blues

And if you wanna shout then shout, like you’ve never done before
And if you wanna kiss then kiss me, like you’ve never done before
And if you wanna run let’s run right through that open door
And if you wanna shout then shout, like you’ve never done before

We stroll along the precinct
You ask me where we’re going
I haven’t got the faintest clue
And I’ve no intent of knowing
But if our fingertips entwine
And neither stops to check the time
Full-on focus, fancy free
It couldn’t grow much more for me, oh yeah

And if you wanna shout then shout, like you’ve never done before
And if you wanna kiss then kiss me, like you’ve never done before
And if you wanna run let’s run right through that open door
And if you wanna shout then shout, like you’ve never done before

And I seldom speak, but silence stifles
When you speak, a thousand rifles
Punctuating whilst I’m waiting
The highlight of my week
And with that lip that I’ve been biting
Without that fear that I’ve been fighting
The whole entire world will stop, and
And I’m inviting, yeah

And if you wanna shout then shout, like you’ve never done before
And if you wanna kiss then kiss me, like you’ve never done before
And if you wanna run let’s run right through that open door
And if you wanna shout then, then do it like you’ve never done before
